Sticky post function not working properly

  Sticky posts aren’t working properly. I am clicking “public” and “stick this post to the front page” and yet the posts still don’t show up at the top of the blog, only in the reverse chronological list below.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  With the theme you are using, Oxygen, sticky posts appear in the post slider at the top of the front page. They are omitted from the post flow below, so that they don’t appear twice.

  They will appear at the top on your Posts page here:
  http://pig-blog.com/posts/
