Sticky post not showing up at top

  Hello,

  I’m having trouble with my sticky post not showing as the third featured post in the top 3 spots heading up the front page. It shows as the top post in the list but I need it to fill the gap on the right at the top. I removed one sticky and the old post disappeared but the new one will not take it’s place. What am I missing??

  The Featured Content Area in your theme doesn’t show Sticky Posts, it shows posts in your set Featured Tag: https://wordpress.com/theme/maxwell/setup
