STICKY posts for hosted WP.com blogs
-
I would like to have STICKY posts in my hosted WP.com blog. Or a post which appears on a preconfigured date and time.
How do I do it? Is there a hack for it? Or a widget?
Is it possible in the hosted WP.com at all?
If not, this would be a good feature enhancement, Matt …Thx everyone in advance.

There are LOTS of threads in the forum lately about making one post on top all the time. Use the SEARCH box to find them; I’m too lazy. Short form: can’t be done.
And you can do a “Future post” easily enough. You write up the post as per normal, and then before you hit Publish you go to Post Timestamp on the right-hand side and put in when you’d like it to publish. It pops up when you tell it to.

Hmmm, that timestamp thing sounds good as i would prefer to not have to post on the weekends.Of course I would have to post more on friday but it seems worth it.:)

Be careful with the future posting, there’s a problem with it at the moment that TPTB are trying to fix. There’s a thread about it on the forum somewhere.

Future post issue.
It’s with the software, not the install here as I’m having the issue as well on my WPMU install.
