Sticky Posts – hide FEATURED tag
-
This is an easy one…
BACKGROUND: I am in the process of trying to make the front page more user friendly for what I am trying to do. One way of doing this is to use the sticky post feature for Full News Broadcasts (at least one week, maybe two seeks…about 10 sticky posts) which show entire outline of coverage. The four or five pages per day with individual stories/videos and detailed analysis could still be accessed from this outline), and of course, all of the posts can be accessed by categories.
TWO QUESTIONS:
1. Is there a limit to the number of sticky posts?
2. How do I hide the “FEATURED” tag of the sticky post? (Date is already not visible–that’s a good thing because the date is in the title of full broadcasts anyways)I would appreciate any help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

1. Is there a limit to the number of sticky posts?
No, not really although some have used 100 or more and that has caused some issues in the past when a site is set to not use the infinite scroll (they all appear on the main page regardless of the number of posts set in the Reading section).
2. How do I hide the “FEATURED” tag of the sticky post?
This would do it for you.
.sticky .posted-on, .sticky .edit-link:before { display: none; } -
