STICKY POSTS IN OXYGEN THEME DON'T WORK
-
Hello,
I’m using the oxygen theme. My sticky posts seem kind of stuck in the way they were when i first set up my blog. I can’t replace ancient sticky posts with new ones. Unticking the “sticky post” option won’t make my old sticky posts disappear from the home page slider. And, despite setting a featured image and making sure it is more than 750 pixels wide, my new sticky posts won’t show in my home page. In the blog post list, though, the correct ones appear as sticky… How can the right ones appear in the slider? Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you making your edits from WP admin (the editor that looks like this):
https://portfoliomarinedefroberville.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.phpor from the new editor?
There is a known issue with sticky posts not working as expected using the new editor with the Oxygen theme.
If you were using the new editor opening the posts in question in the editor linked above, resetting the sticky setting, and clicking update should fix the problem.
If not, let me know and we can investigate further.

It worked with the old editor! Thanks a million. Is there a way to automatically edit post in this old editor or should i always use the link you sent? Thanks again you are a life-saver!

When you need to make changes to sticky posts, use the link I sent. Otherwise you can stick with the new editor if that’s the one you prefer.
