Greetings. In settings, what is your site set to show for the front page?
Options are “Your latest posts” or “A static page.”If you have chosen a static page, then your sticky posts will not show.
The easiest way to check this is to visit “Appearance > Customizer” and check the “Static Front Page” option on the left.
Let me know if it works out.

Hi, thanks for getting back to me.
Well, I specifically selected static page because many themes advise to do so. The effect I am trying to achieve is a front page with a selection of posts – pictures, links, videos… – and a blog page that collects all my contents – but not necessairly in the home page.
I was under the impression that it was possible to do so – check this one https://curatordemo.wordpress.com/
Best of things!

Some themes will have a page template specifically coded to do what you’re talking about. The Goran theme does not do that. I’m not sure off hand what themes to recommend that would do this.

I bought the one I had showed you but I could not make it work. It’s becoming a longer quest than anticipated… not sure I’ve got the time or will to keep playing with the themes… should you stumble upon one that would do please let me know – if you got time, that is.
Thanks anyway.
