STILL can't access my blog (it's a glitch, not user error)
-
Hi-
This issue has been driving me crazy for a few months now and despite several attempts to clear it up, and some help from the community (none of which worked), I STILL can’t access my most popular blog. I still get comment notifications from it, but can’t log in. I log in with the correct e-mail and password but only shows me one of my blogs (www.ThePracticeOfPractice.com) and not the one I need to access (www.TalkingTrumpet.Wordpress.com).Can somebody pleasepleaseplease help me fix this? I’ve tried absolutely everything, looked at all the help articles, used every browser I have (even Opera!), and still nothing. Could it be because one is paid for w/ my own domain and the other is free? I have absolutely no idea and can’t solve this on my own.
Thanks in advance. :-)
Jon Harnum
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

All www URLs on mapped domains seamlessly redirect to the same content under the URL without the redundant “www” which has not been required for a decade. The software will continue to strip out the redundant and unnecessary www if you are entering it.
That is not possible.
Be aware that www is an old protocol from way back when the web was new and everything was under separate server hardware. www (www.example.com) was the web server, mail (mail.example.com) was the mail server, ftp (ftp.example.com) was the FTP server, print (print.example.com) was the print server, etc.
These days, everything is run under the web server, making www. redundant and a waste of four characters.

), I STILL can’t access my most popular blog. … http://thepracticeofpractice.com/
You must be logged in under the exact same username that registered the site to be able to access the site. The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:
http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
Replace NAME_OF_BLOG in that URL with the actual name of your blog.
If the login information has been lost go to
https://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/
https://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/#lost-passwordIf required use the account recovery form

Yeah, the www is an old habit I haven’t broken yet. This still doesn’t help me log in, but thanks for the reminder.

Yeah, I’ve tried all that a few times (and just tried it again to triple-check), and am using the correct usrname/pwd, but for some reason I’m not granted access to talkingtrumpet.wordpress.com and AM granted access to thepracticeofpractice.com.
I’m still getting notifications to the email with which I (should be able to) sign in with. Just can’t get to the dashboard
I’ve tried resetting the password, too, but still had the same problem. I’m stumped.

Does this Staff response https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/blog-admin-access-no-longer-available-for-one-of-my-blogs?replies=17#post-2558737 help?

yeah, that’s from my first attempt to understand what was going on.
I understood what rootjosh told me, and it made sense (even thought it made feel like an idiot) and I thought that was the solution. But when I logged out and logged in with the right admin e-mail pwd, I STILL couldn’t access the talkingtrumpet.wordpress.com site. That left me too frustrated and confused to continue so I just gave up. Am back for another attempt to understand what’s going on.

Wow. total rookie move. I was logging in using the e-mail as my username instead of the actual username. E-mail username (regardless of which one I tried) diverted me to the one blog only. So once I used the actual username, I’m in.
Sheesh. Wish I could change the title of this forum post to ” It’s
