  Have cleared Safari cache; also tried Google chrome. Advice, please? Thank you.

  Staff have changed the editor again. That is a known issue https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/paste-text-broken-visual-editor?replies=9 You may be able to paste when using the Text Edit view as a work around. Using paste as text Visual editor Row 2 icon #5 removes all formatting and spacing.
