Still can’t post on my WP blog.

    I sent several notes. Still get messages from forum saying they can see my post and search for it, but it does not come through on my computer, Problem is with the log in , I think. I have changed the password, and it does not help, so I am UNABLE to LOG IN which means I am UNABLE to RESPOND to any people on the forum or staff. Who can help me with this, and how? What do I do, other than give up my blog? :(

    Sorry to hear about that!

    • After changing your password, are you able to login into your WordPress blog?
    • If you’re unable to login into your blog, do you receive any error message when you tried login in?

    Thank you, Tarhe. Almost 24 hrs. since I started this yesterday. :( Yes, I was able to get into my ‘account’ by changing the password a second time, and it took me to a dashboard (sort of), ‘with’ the newly post of Things in Right Places … the picture I’d added as media is still a full page size, and I’d very much like to reduce it to 25% and did that to the photo before adding it, but it still came out huge. Any ideas? And .. sadly, when I then went to click on my beeconcise.com page itself, there sits my last month’s post, with NO new post from last night. I did a ‘search’ for Things in Right Places’ and it brings up a post from several years ago, called ‘Changing Places.’ How disappointing is that??? I really do not know what to do now. Any ideas would be helpful – also – the ‘dashboard’ I now get when I log into my beecncise.com page, is limited – no way to ‘view’ or ‘publish’ but it does give me a spot to ‘add a new blog’ … should I try adding this same one again?? Since the password has changed, maybe I should? Ideas???

    One more thing – I tried to print off the new blog post, and it gave me only the title, with no words. :( I have a notebook of all of my posts, and this is such a disappointment. I do not believe this is fixed yet, but I do have a new password.

    One more thing – when I put the following into my browser, it does not bring up my wordpress blog. It says something like it can’t find it … ??

    It brings up nothing, but it seems to for everyone else?? What is happening here?

    http://www.beeconcise.com/ still brings up my blog, with all of my stuff and the latest being my last months’ posting of Peony. ??

    Sigh ….

    If you would like to adjust the size of your picture you can use this photo resize plugin. or follow the instructions on the WordPress article to resize it manually with Gimp photo software.

    For your missing post.
    When you visit your Dashboard
    Click on site > Post

    Do you see your missing post on under Published or Draft?

    Does your WordPress site http://www.dotcom1236.wordpress.com/2019/04/30/things-in-right-places/
    gives you a message that it is private?

    You can change it to public by following the steps below:

    Go to your blog’s dashboard.

      Under Manage

    • Select Settings.
    • Select Privacy.
    • Change it to Public

    Does this help?

    Thanks so much, all. Everything is working beautifully now. My hubby, who was gone, came home and said, “Turn the machine off and turn it back on.” And now it’s working. My blog ‘just’ posted as of May 2nd, and that’s OK by me. Also, the andrewsp0kane user name does not work. The old one does. Go figure. I guess I need to unsubscribe from this help forum. Thanks everyone, especially The Magic Robot. :) The picture on the post is even the right size, suddenly. I will stop trying to understand this and just go with it, feeling ever so blessed. Now – to finish that novel!!! :) I ope this is all I am supposed to do to ‘unsubscribe’ from the forum.
