Still can't remove lines around image

  Hi all,

  Still very new. I have looked at all of the archives and tried just about all the CSS recommendations and CANNOT remove the white lines around a linked image using Fresh and Clean theme.

  Any help for the desperate?

  If anyone also knows how to remove the “Blog at WordPress.com. Theme: Fresh & Clean by WPExplorer.” line at the bottom as well, that would make my Friday afternoon.

  Here’s the scenario. The custom design upgrade comes with Staff support and all support Staff are required to have CSS editing skills. Hence far on this forum we see designsimply (Staff) doing the support for CSS editing when she’s available, but we haven’t seen her post for quite awhile now. There is one volunteer (thesacredpath) who regularly chooses to provide his services free of charge but he’s not around today. Now and then another member will assist but you will probably be waiting forawhile for the help you need. P.S. I felt bad about just ignoring your thread but I don’t help with CSS editing and that’s why I posted to explain the foregoing.

  Can you give a link to the page showing the images with the white lines? .I think that will be helpful to the person that comes to help you out.

  The only image I see is the header/ title image on your main page.

  You have a boxshadow around the images (or the theme does).
  You can delete the boxshadow code from your img specifications. It’s the border-radius and box-shadow properties. If you delete those lines you should see the images with no border.

  To override ALL the image borders and box shadows in the Fresh and Clean theme on WordPress.com, try adding this to your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS editor:

  img {
  	border: none !important;
  	box-shadow: none !important;
  }
