Still having categories problem after all i red :/

m sorry i red all the ifnormation in the support site and in the forum and still cant get it. My blog is http://socialfist.wordpress.com/ and under each publication there is the following text – “publicated in : category name” and “Comments”. I want to remove “published in” text (I unchecked the category box in my dashboard).Ive seen other blogs where this text "publicated in: category name" is missing and I want the same thing for my blog. Im using MistyLook theme and no widgets. Again sorry for oppening this problem but i did all i can.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It depends on the theme you are using how to remove it, you’ll have to be upgraded to edit in CS though.
And most likely, again it depends on the theme but comments and tags will be removed too. -
The one thing I have learned from being around here testing things out, is all those little details are theme specific. Some templates display things in a certain way, some don’t. You have to find the one that has it exactly the way you wish it to be. It’s an interesting aspect to pay attention to, as I think most people when they are in the setting up/design mode don’t think about these tiny details and then once they get fixated on a theme they like they realize it doesn’t do what they want.
I asked about something similar because I wanted to have my blog’s desciption in the header, but found out (through helpful forums) the theme I picked didn’t allow it. I found out that some themes allow certain things, some don’t, you can’t change it. You just have to get creative with how to format it if you can. In my case I can fix it with building a custom header outside of wordpress and adding the text into the image. In your case, it’s accepting that’s the way that theme works, finding a new theme, or upgrading and possibly altering the CSS.
