  I have reported the problem because somewhere I was told that WP has fixed the problem. Anybody still experiencing technical difficulties with their site?

  Thanks for the advise but I have already done this. Just wondering what is taking so looooooog. :)
  Oh well, I suppose one night without blogging won’t kill me, though it may kill my traffic.

  Okay, I’m good. I just reverted to the first saved version, redid the subsequent changes, and it published fine, plus the previous posts below it, which had been all sideways before, are now fine. Thank you, WordPress gods and/or goddesses!
