Still no Mongolian validator

  I’ve been consistently contributing to the Mongolian language translation for the last few months and since there’s no one to validate my translations, I would like to become a validator. What should I do?

  Hi zolbayarq! This is something a Staff member needs to help you with, so I added the modlook tag to the tag box to alert a member of staff to assist you.

  Hi Zolbayar,

  Thanks for your help with translating WordPress.com to Mongolian!
  I’ve spot-checked your translations (we don’t have a native speaker so I used Google Translate) and they look fine. Before granting you the validator status, could you make sure you have the 2-step Authentication set up for your account? We require validators to do so for security reasons (reference – under “I used to be a validator, but seem to have lost the status. What happened?”).

  Great! I’ve verified your 2-step auth is enabled and you’re now a Mongolian validator for the WordPress.com project :)

  We are excited as well to have you on board! I’m sorry it took a while for this to happen, we should make it clearer that contributors waiting for translation validation can ask to become a validator.

  Anyway, we have a quick guide for building your translation community and working with other translators.

  I hope you can start working on glossary and style guide at some point, they are super helpful to keep your locale’s translations consistent.
