STILL not able to use toolbar icon to download photos to my posts
-
Sorry to be a pest, but I asked about this a few days ago and was kindly given advice about downloading photos to my blog posts.
I was advised to download the photo to my computer first and then upload it to my blog (which I have done). However doing this gives me no freedom to position the photo.
I get my photos from Flickr and I spoke to them about my account to see if there was a problem on their end, and they said no.
I’ve been with WordPress for 4 months now and have never had a problem with this. I would like to go back to using the toolbar icon for my photos…but don’t know how to fix this.
If you could give me any new advice about this….I’d really appreciate it.
Thank you very much for your past advice and support!

Problem details:
When I use the toolbar icon to add a photo, I place the url in the proper place, however when I hit the insert button…nothing appears…ZERO

If the image is too large for the column, sometimes you get that (or you get a small black rectangle).
Can you give us a sample URL for a photo you’ve had this problem with? And does the photo show up fine in the Uploads box? If it doesn’t display there, it’s possible what you’ve uploaded is the Spaceball gif instead.

If I am understanding your problem properly, have you tried going to Dashboard > Manage >Uploads, clicking on the photo you have uploaded and wish to add, and copying and pasting the URL for the photo into the toolbar tool. I am guessing that the URL you are entering is incorrect. But then again, I may be completely misunderstanding.
