STILL NOT RESOLVED: “previous entries” link is gone again

  The “previous entries” link was there this morning, but isn’t there now. Again. This is the third day without a solution.

  The only other suggestion I’ve seen to temporarily remedy the problem is to change the number of entries you show per page of your blog under Settings>Reading>Blog pages show at most X posts. Save your changes and see if the link doesn’t come back.

  Otherwise, send in a Support request via your Dashboard. This isn’t something forum volunteers can actually fix.

  Before I posted I searched for past posts and couldn’t find them so I started a new one. Yesterday I searched for “buyathread” and today I searched for “previous entries” and neither one produced my previous postings.

  This is totally nuts but ten minutes after I posted (and contacted Support), I checked again, and the link was there. It’s a serious problem that makes my site unnavigable and I have no idea what else to do.

  Just click on the word Member beneath your name and you’ll see all the posts you’ve made in the forum.

  @ justjennifer – Thanks. I did what you suggested and reduced the number of entries per page. I hope that will fix the problem and/or that Support will come up with a gremlin-killer : )

  Yup, and the other way is to click on your username that appears at the top of the forum next to “Welcome,yourusernamehere”. Very useful when you first wander over here and haven’t opened any threads yet.

  By the way, you can also “favorite” a thread you find useful.

  The bookmarking link is in the upper right corner of this page, right under “About this topic”. Then in your forum profile page, you can click on the “Favorites” link to easily get back to them. :)
