still trying to recover .wordpress.com name
-
I accidentally removed my sailthetides.wordpress.com site. When I tried to redo it I made about 5 sailthetides variations including sailthetide.wordpress.com but I already have alot of other things with that sail the tideS name including my domain name. I can’t afford the premium upgrade I just want to reset my original sailthetides.wordpress.com It was my name and I have any information needed to get reset and I would like to REMOVE the 5 or so variations and KEEP the sailthetides.wordpress.com name. Please tell me there is something you can do to get rid of the unneeded accounts and give me the name back! I already spoke with support but they said the name may be gone for 2 years, I can’t wait that long for the name…is there any way to recover that name and delete the funky ones?

This might not be the answer you were hoping for, but it’s not possible to recover https://sailthetides.wordpress.com/ currently. You will have to wait for a minimum of 2 years since the date of deletion for this site address to be available again. Again, it’s not guaranteed that this might be available at that time.
I suggest you pick a closest alternative to sailthetides.wordpress.com which would be sailthetide.wordpress.com.
Deleting a WordPress.com site
If you wish to delete all other WordPress.com sites you have, visit this page and click on the “Delete your site permanently” button at the bottom. Follow the on-screen instructions to delete your WordPress.com site.
If you are unsure about a step anywhere, you can refer this page for help.
Again, note that when you delete a WordPress.com site, it’s not possible to recover it.

I just realized that we have another ongoing support discussion related to the same WordPress.com site.
I am afraid there’s nothing much that can be done when a WordPress.com site is deleted.

I was in denial and hoping you were wrong. I found a ton of other forums that essentially said the same thing. Thanks for your help again, I appreciate it. I’m starting over with a whole new everything. Learning through experience, gotta love it. Happy Holidays!
