Stock Quote Widget

    Hi, I am starting a blog where I need to imbed stock quotes. Can I download a widget to do that? So far I have had difficulties finding a solution, Thanks!

    Hi there,

    We don’t really have any widgets which by default embed stock quotes. If you have a site which provides stock quotes and does so using strict HTML (without using any javascript, iframes, java, etc; all of which are kinds of code which we don’t allow for security reasons), then you could probably use our Text widget to display it.

    If you find such a resource, you can give it a try. Just go to Appearance >> Widgets and you’ll find the text widget there. You can activate it and paste the code you’ve been given in to the text area. If it disappears without displaying the stock information on the front of your site, then it probably won’t work. You can always feel free to run the code by me though to see if it’s something that will work in our system though!
