Stolen Blog??
-
I asked a few days ago why after 32 postings my blog has not been indexed with google blogs, i was told to be patient. I have today found that someone has stolen my entire blog title “Newport Sketcher/Trees n Things” and i assume with it my entire blog. Is that why google won’t index me? I clicked on the site that has my title and it says “server error” the URL for it has money in the title..My URL is http://newportsketcher.wordpress.com
I had postings stolen after one day but this appears to be my entire blog. I have now set my blog to private as i don’t want to delete it yet. What i’d like to know is why this other site says “server error” is it just that i myself can’t access it or would there be another reason. How can i report them if i can’t access it. The URL for this other site isThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Titles cannot be copyrighted, but if they have stolen your blog contents, you can go after them. Follow the instructions at the site Mark gave you.
-
Thank you..i have now reported it..but it doesn’t help me with google not listing me does it?
-
It will once it gets taken down. It will help you a great deal; that’s why it’s so important to go after them.
-
Ok…i know blog titles can’t be copyright but the exact full title is a bit obvious!! not only the title but the sub-title too…thanks for the advice, i have reported it but i’m putting the blog to private for now as i don’t know if i want to continue, as this is the second stealing of my postings(that i know of) and i’ve only been here a week…thanks again for the advice

I have the same problem: my blog is stolen by http://www.nichesitemoney.com/
The google search results are vital so report http://www.nichesitemoney.com/ using google spam report at:

Kizerr thank you for that information, it seems nichesitemoney have been very busy with their thieving from blogs. Let’s hope it gets sorted or i’ve wasted 32 postings.

Hi there. My blog was one of the victimised site, and upon discovery, I immediately notified and reported it to Google as it is in fact a doorway page / deceptive redirect.
Dear Google,
It has come to my notice that, http://www.nichesitemoney.com/, in its attempt to raise its Pagerank/SEO, has pseudo-fied alot of blogs that are recorded in Google Blogsearch.
The search query “锐伊” is my chinese nickname, “锐伊·拙笔” returned by blogsearch is the name of my blog. Upon clicking the #1 search result provided, it actually redirected to and opened up a page about Search Engine Marketing (SEO Elite Software), which is therefore a misleading link/cloaked page and definitely a deceptive redirect. It can be classed as a doorway page, since it inserted results in its attempt to spam and direct users to another page.
As this does not only affects me and my blog but many others, I urge Google to attend to this and hopefully blacklist the website to protect Google users and internet users using Google services.
Here is a list of websites/blogs which are affected by this spam service : http://blogsearch.google.com.sg/blogsearch?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=nichesitemoney+blogurl:http://www.nichesitemoney.com/
Thank you.

If it helps it’s not a personal attack. Splogs are set up to catch work published with specific tags, I recently started using “Pregnancy” as a tag/category and a bunch of new (to me) Splogs have started picking up my work. It’s an automated system people set up in hopes of making money off the Adsense which appears in the sidebars. If you want to blame someone, or hold someone responsible for the Splogs, you can start with Google. Splogs rarely work as money-making tools, so not blogging will neither hinder or help the Sploggers or you. Report the Sploggers you can find to Google, but until Google fixes their Adsense program Sploggers are a nuisance that are basically the price of blogging.

Well, if nichesitemoney is just a splogger, then maybe I wouldn’t be jumping as high as I am now. nichesitemoney virtually robs you of your blog title and blog sub title, and redirects whoever that searches for your blog to some seo software page, by no means related to your site or site content.
I mind this much only because i feel that my nickname now feels like another of those scammer/spammer thanks to nichesitemoney.

Just FYI a hosting company that was home to many such blogs was recently shut down by the FTC.
nichesitemoney is hosted by BlueHost, a reputable provider who will act promptly if you send a valid and complete DMCA notice.
Exactly what action BlueHost will take is up to them, but if they receive many independent and accurate DCMA notices they’re within their rights to shut down the site.
-
As I’m typing here, I’m preparing the DCMA notice. Anyone else sending?
I’m so not gonna let myself or my nickname or my blog be associated to a spammer. -
nichesitemoney has now been suspended by bluehost.

wow–congrats!! I am so glad to know that this can be done as my content has been stolen as well and I figured it was just the price of blogging.
Thanks Raincoaster for tweeting this info.
