Stolen domain

  Hello! I have recently discovered that my domain was stolen back in March of this year. I created the domain ‘arielperalta.com’ for a college assignment and never glanced at it until I went to visit the site more recently to notice that arielperalta.com was no longer available or active. When I logged into WordPress, I used my same email and was able to gain access again but everything from my original page had been deleted. Can this be recovered? The domain, ‘arielandrianna’ is not associated with me and I have no idea how that domain came about but it is under my account associated with my email. How can I go about recovering my website ‘arielperalta.com’?

  It seems your custom domain already back in may – https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/arielperalta.com

  When you let a domain expire you are stating you longer need it. Someone bought that domain on 2024-06-28. There is no (legal) way to reclaim an expired domain.

  Thank you for sharing this information with me. Everything that was previously on my site is gone indefinitely? Did I understand that correctly? I won’t be able to see anything from that site ever again?

  If you didn’t make a proper backup of that site, all content is gone forever.
