stolen image – shows up in google search
-
Hello fellow bloggers,
I have an issue I hope someone can help me with.
I have a small blog, with a small amount of monthly viewers. Then I posted something about Crete, and for some reason ended up high in google images, which gave me the most views.
So every now & then I check if this images is still in high in google images.
But today I found that the image was there, but linked to another site.I have emailed that site, saying that they don’t have permission to use my content & I would like for it to be removed.
What I wonder, however, if how it is possible that my image still shows up in google images, but not linked to my page?
If they use it, ok, but is it not MY BLOG, that came up in searches?I hope that I explained this clearly, and that somebody can answer my question!
Many thanks!

To come back on this, I saw that the site that used my contact is powered by WordPress. Would they be able to remove the item, or contact the owner about this?
I have mailed them, but have not received a reply

WordPress.ORG is not a host – they are the keepers of the WordPress software, so they can’t remove anything
