stolen personal data by webnode

  Hi WordPress,
  I think this is a very serious matter, I have today signed up for my domain name & my email, and I also paid for the service ” private registration”.

  When I do a google search on my business name, a false site hosted by “webnode” shows up, with a mix of false but still personal data & business description which has nothing to do with me or my site hosted by wordpress.

  Im of deep concern how this site could have apperaed just after signing up for a private registration domain name…with wordpress,

  Please, I will need to get some explanation, and of course that actions will be taken in order to remove the false site asap.

  …as you can see on the site, it looks like a “robot” just gathered some info and smashed it together, my main concern is from Where did this info come? and how did it get there?
  I have never ever even herad about webnode…

  I asked which exact domain URL you registered.

  You did not register that URL at http://salex-design.webnode.es/ through WordPress.COM because that domain extension is not available for purchase through wordpress.com https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/#available-domains
  That domain belongs to someone else.

  ..sorry Im not sure Im getting it..

  I have registered as you say, salex-design.com with wordpress and its working fine.

  My concern, is that I had to fill out this form with personal data in order to get the domain registered, and i paid for the service “private” somehow just after my domain was regsitered all working OK. I saw that salex design appears on a strange site but with my personal data, so my question is, could this data somehow been “stolen” and falsly published under another name, hosed by someone else?

  It looks like the site you linked to has been suspended by their host. If you come across any more of these sites, you’ll need to contact the host of the site to file a complaint. We here at WordPress.com can only take down sites that are hosted with us.

  Thanks for yr reply.
  Yes, that’s the first thing I did, and Im happy it has been suspended.
  However my concern about the data….my personal data that was given to WordPress when filing for the domain still makes me worried….Im a very private person and some of this information was just copied and pasted straight on to that false site… So if I had paid for this private registration how could this information posibly got out of hands and showing in a completely different context where there´s no control…

  With other words wordpress is the only company that have been given that info…
