Hello there! You can also use one of the backup codes to disable two-step authentication:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/security/two-step-authentication/#disabling-two-step-authentication

Please let me know if this works for you, and if not, tell me the process you used to attain your backup code. Thanks so much!

I got a new validation code and entered it in to disable the 2 step. It only tells me that it is an invalid code.

Hi there! Because of security, this isn’t something I can turn off for you, so I’d like to help figure out where the glitch is taking place.

Could you walk me through your process? From where are you retrieving your code?

Have you tried to enter your code in another browser? I see you’re using Firefox. Can you try Chrome or Safari?

Have you tried an alternate device (ie. a smartphone, if you’re usually trying on a computer)?

Please let me know. The more specific you can be, the more likely I can help troubleshoot the issue so we can turn off this level of security for you. Many thanks!

Retrieving the code from sms. Tried entering it in Chrome on desktop, Chrome on laptop. Opened another browser, Explorer, on desktop and tried to use the same validation code that I just used on Chrome but I guess you can’t use it more than once.

Got another sms code and entered it using Explorer. Still shows as an invalid code.

Thank you so much for following up after that testing.

Did your validation code ever work? If not, I want to check how you set up your validator. If it did work at one point, can you pinpoint when it stopped working?

Thanks. We’ll get to the bottom of this as soon as possible.

    Validation codes have NEVER worked.

All right. Keep an eye out. I need to verify some information with you and will send a private message to the email account associated with your site. Thanks very much!

Just checked my wife’s email. No further message from you. I responded through her email

Let’s get this fixed or I will just dump the whole thing and get a refund of our $99.

Hi there, I sent the email yesterday that contained all the instructions. It went to the email address you just posted (I have deleted his from the public forum, for the sake of her online privacy). Please check her spam filter, as well as the social tab in her inbox. If you don’t see it there, I’ll forward the note again.
    Thanks much.
