Stop access to a site

  Hi,

  I recently discovered an old site (https://autotraderblog.wordpress.com/) which is connected to the company I work for, the site is 10 years old and I wish to take it down. Unfortunately, there is no-one left in the company that has any knowledge or access to the site.

  I have looked at the recovery form but dont have any of the mentioned ways to prove the connection of ownership.

  As a last resort, I have read I can request to make it private, I believe this will then effectively take it down, please can you advise the best way to request this?
