Stop Admin Sidebar from Collapsing
-
In the admin, when I am editing a page or blog post, the admin collapses. I want it to be always present and not collapse. Is there a way to do this?

I don’t see any WordPress.com sites under your account here.
What is the URL of the site with the problem?

It’s true of every WordPress site that I work on now. Last week, I was adding pages to https://heartmattersblog.org/. When I would go to pages and click “Add New,” the admin sidebar (that has the links for Dashboard, Posts, Media, etc.) goes away and I have to click the WordPress logo at the top left to get it back.
I don’t want the sidebar to go away.

This is intended, and how the block editor is designed to work. So I’m afraid what you want is not possible – the admin sidebar menu is not visible when one is inside the post/page editor.
