  Is there a way to stop random comments appearing on my blog which has nothing to do with my blog?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Sure, on your Discussions page set it so people must first have an approved comment on your site before their comment is posted. All others will be held for your approval.

  But you might want to review the Terms of Service and types of blogs allowed before you proceed here.
