Stop Current import

    I started an import about a week ago, that is still running. I would like to cancel that and try it another way…but I can’t see a way to cancel the current import. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    That setting does not exist for you.

    1. Is the site you have the XML export file from still online?
    2. If yes, what is the URL?
    3. How large is the XML export file?
    4. Did you receive any error messages? If so, post them here please.

    Sometimes the importer gets stuck. If the XML export file is large you may have to import Posts, Pages, etc. in separate files. Or if the XML export file is very large Staff may have to do the import.

    Hi there,

    I’ve reset the importer on your site so you can now start a new import.

    It looks like the file you’re trying to upload is too big. We have a 15MB file size limit, and your file is over 25MB big. You’ll need to split the file into smaller pieces and then import those one at a time.
