Stop Header Logo Resizing

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hello!

Recently took over a WordPress site using the Enfold theme, and I am trying to update the main logo in the header. No matter what size I make the new logo, it is being distorted, even when I make the new logo the same exact size as the logo previously used distortion occurs.

I furthermore don’t see any options for customizing or editing this part of the site other than the header size and logo justification, including accessing any of the code.

Thanks in advance for any help!

  • Hi there –

Please share the site URL so we can take a better look at things. If we aren’t the right place to get help I will try and point you in the right direction.

  • Thanks for that information. Unfortunately, the site isn’t hosted on our managed environment here at WordPress.com. Looks like you’re set up on a stand alone WordPress installation instead. That version of WordPress can get help through their hosting provider (if they offer WordPress support, most do not) or you can get help through the volunteer network on https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

It does seem that a managed hosting environment would be a better fit for you and this project. We can help you with getting the site moved over so in the future when these sort of questions come up our team can help you. Right now, you are kind of out on your own. With a managed hosting environment our team handles all of these back end details like updates, security, seo, spam, and so forth. Leaving you the freedom to work on the content.
