Stop Mapping Didn’t Work

I purchased a domain name from an outside company and mapped my WP blog to that domain by changing the DNS settings as recommended. Recently I upgraded to a full hosting package from same domain company and un-mapped my blog (changed DNS back to original and changed it within WP > upgrade > domain) so that I could eventually set up a subdomain. On my home computer when I type in http://www.optimistically-pessimistic I get my temporary holding page that I created and published through FrontPage. At work however, when I type in the above domain, it goes to imoptimisticallypessimistic.wordpress.com. I spoke with 4 people at said hosting company and they say there is nothing they can do and it is all on my end.
Is there something else I should be doing? I have cleared cookies, cache and DNS cache more than once. I’m really confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

I can take awhile for these kinds of changes to set. How long has it been since you un-did the mapping?
