Stop notifications of new posts

  Is there any way to stop my followers from receiving notifications of new posts? I need to upload a number of posts all at once and I don’t want them to receive all those notifications.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Karen,

  Here’s a little trick:

  1. Temporarily adjust your site’s visibility to Private. Here are the instructions:
     en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
  2. Upload your posts to your blog.
  3. Once they are published, return to your privacy settings, and make your blog public.

  Notifications of new publications aren’t sent out for private sites.

  Hey, thanks. I tried it but everyone got all of the notifications at once as soon as I made it public again. I still need to upload more posts and I don’t want to lose followers because of these emails. Is there no way around this?
