Stop page jump
-
Whenever I click onto any of my galleries in my posts I get taken all the way to the top of my post again. This is very annoying when I have long posts, which will make readers just click out of my blog instead of having to go all the way down to where they were before clicking onto the gallery. This is the case with all my posts at the moment, and I have no idea why (it didnt use to be this way), for example http://redisanattitude.com/soskensjalusi-for-kobenhavn/.
Do you have any suggestions on how to solve this? I even tried to deactivate the Dreamgrow Scroll Triggered Box plugin (as it is adding an extra layer of content at the bottom of my pages), but this did not work either. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Renate,
I can definitely understand the frustration with the page always scrolling back to the top after.
I went to your blog to give it a try, it seems you’re running a self-hosted WordPress installation. In the future, I would suggest going to the WordPress.org dedicated forums located at:
WordPress.org – SupportThis is most likely a conflict with your theme and since you have a premium theme installed, I would contact the theme developer to see if they are either aware of this issue (and already have a fix) or if they can help troubleshoot as they should be familiar with their theme.
Here’s a direct link to their support page on ThemeForest:
Venus Theme SupportYou could also try de-activating each of your plugins one by one to see if there’s a conflict there.
You could also make sure your theme and plugins are up-to-date (make sure to backup your site and database before updating). For the theme, ThemeForest usually sends out an email when there’s an update available, maybe you received one of these.
By the way, you can also use the WordPress.org support forums mentioned above to see if anyone else has similar issues.
I hope this helps,
