Stop plugins from automatically updating
-
Our downloaded plugins start updating by themselves this week and this has never happened before. The plugins we use have no auto-date option before. This coincide with a Internal Server 500 error on our login page.
We reach out to our hosting service and they look through our logs but claim they can’t find anything wrong with it. However, the support team added the following line to our wp-config.php file in the hopes that it will help;
define( ‘AUTOMATIC_UPDATER_DISABLED’, true );
Our site went back to normal and suddenly one of our plugins WordPress SEO by Yoast updated by itself this morning (while the rest of the plugins seem fine for now) Is there any other way we can stop this plugin or better still, any of our other plugins from automatically updating themselves in future?
