Stop the auto emails of RSS feeds to followers

    Hi there I am now using a new emails system that has pretty RSS feed auto emails and I don’t want the old one that was via WordPress​ and jetpack sent out any longer, I deactivated the follow button but how can I stop the folks from receiving the emails whenever new posts go live? thanks

    Hi there,

    Site owners have no control over the email notifications sent out to WordPress.com/Jetpack followers. Only the followers themselves can unsubscribe from those:

    So in this case my advice would be to publish a post encouraging your followers to subscribe to your new email system instead and to cancel their subscription via the WordPress.com emails. Keep in mind that if they do that, we won’t be able to move them over to a different site for you should you ever need us to, as they won’t be connected to our system. They also won’t appear in your stats under Followers any more.
