stop with new comments' emails

    Hello. I Don’t want to receive new comments on my email [email redacted] from CompraNoExterior anymore.
    Thank you.

    Hi @katiatempest

    I can help you on this one. Try unchecking the box for “Anyone posts a comment” under:
    My Sites, Settings, Discussion, then scroll down until you see “Email me whenever”

    Hi,

    I found it at:
    My Site > Settings > Discussion

    Under the EMAIL ME WHEREVER, every field is already enabled. So, I think that is not this.

    This nightmare started because I made a question at the blog and mark to receive comments at that topic because I was afraid to loose the answer.

    Unfortunately, it is an active blog and my inbox is flooding with people talking over there :(((

    I wanted to get back to you on this – I don’t see any more comments so I wanted to see how you are doing with the unwanted email notifications?

    If you’re still having issues with the emails, I suggest you check for support in the .org forums. It looks like your site is not hosted in WordPress.com – if you need support for a WordPress site hosted somewhere other than here at WordPress.com, please try posting your question in the WordPress.org support forums.
    The forum you’ve posted in only provides support for sites hosted here at WordPress.com.

    Hi @katiatempest,

    I was chatting with a friend about this situation to try and help you resolve this issue. My apologies if I didn’t understand the issue here correctly at first – I think I got it now :)

    So it looks like you do not own https://compranoexterior.com.br – you were visiting the site and marked to receive notifications every time someone posted a comment in a specific post – is this correct? I have visited the site now and have verified this is an option on individual posts.

    If this is the case, since this is not a .com site, you will likely have to contact the site administrator (link can be found here) and ask them if they can remove your email address from their end. Another thing you could do is try to unsubscribe right from the email received –
    usually when these emails are sent, there is an option to unsubscribe on the body of the email – please check for that if you still have an email from that subscription. I also checked the site and did not see an option to “unsubscribe” on the pages I checked, so the first two options would be the first ones I would go to.

    If you have however “followed the site”, there is an easy way to “unfollow” in WordPress – you can unsubscribe from any site you are following. Check this link for more details.
