stop WP.org and start WP.com
-
I want to use the domain name I purchased with GoDaddy to manage a blog with WordPress.com. It was previously set up with WordPress.org but I want to switch to WordPress.com
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I built a blog at DrawingAttentionToLife.com after purchasing the domain at GoDaddy. GoDaddy also provided the support for the WordPress.org infrastructure. Now I no longer want to use WordPress.org to manage the site but want to switch to WordPress.com. I paid for domain mapping and did the same for the emails–what is that even doing?
I’m confused!

Okay. I’m wanting to be clear here.
I exported the contents of the blog on DrawingAttentionToLife.com that were managed by WordPress.org. tools and copied them onto the blog DrawingAttentionToLife.wordpress.com that is managed by WordPress.com.
Then I did the domain mapping suggested by WordPress.com changing the names on the GoDaddy site to the wordpress names.
But the result is the opposite of what I wanted. I wanted the name DrawingAttentionToLife.com to now represent what I manage with the DrawingAttentionToLife.wordpress.com site. Instead what appears is the content of the DrawingAttentionToLife.com site that resides on GoDaddy.
I tried changing the primary site on the My Domains page of DrawingAttentionToLife.wordpress.com and neither option gives me what I want: DrawingAttentionToLife.com showing the theme and changes made via DrawingAttentionToLife.wordpress.com.
Is that possible?
And I want to keep the email address that I created with DrawingAttentionToLife.com –which seems to be happening.
