Stopped receiving email notifications of comments and new articles.

I am following MemoryHoleBlog.com
About six months ago, only my MHB emails in my inbox were hacked and moved to spam folder. From then on I stopped receiving comments to threads I had been participating in as well as notifications of new articles posted by Dr. Tracy. Yesterday a commenter said I should unfollow and then follow again and maybe I would start receiving as I should. I did that but I never received the confirmation email after following again and I know that people have responded in threads I am participating in and I have not received notifications of replies.
I am a long-time member of WordPress.

Have you double checked your spam/junk folder? The email might be there.
If you use Gmail, also have a look at this link for help on issues specific to Gmail: https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-notifications/gmail-issues/To check if you’re following MemoryHoleBlog.com, go to your Manage Followed Sites page and search for the blog: https://wordpress.com/following/edit.
If you’re unable to find the blog on the list of followed sites, you can follow it straight away by clicking the blue Follow Site button at the top right of the page.
Then type ‘MemoryHoleBlog.com’ on the search bar, the name of the blog will show up under the search bar. You can hit the follow button on the right to start following it again.You can check the Comment Notification at this page: https://wordpress.com/me/notifications/comments.
To make sure you get emails once somebody likes and/or replies to your comments, please check the boxes and save the setting.Let me know if this information helps you solve your issue. Thanks!

I have followed and double checked all that was suggested in last comment here. I did receive notification that I am subscribed to MHB. I have always and am still receive notifications of Likes.
However, I am still not receiving notifications and there should be at least notification emails coming my way after that notification memo that said I was officially a subscriber to MHB.
I am very frustrated and disappointed in WordPress Help. Someone needs to personally go in an fix whatever has gummed up my account subscriptions / notifications with MHB.

@dachsielady, I’m going to tag this for Staff attention. They will be able to look inside your account and find out what is not set up correct and get it sorted for you.
I’m sorry you’re still experiencing this inconvenient but I’m confident the Staff will fix it soon.

While I can understand your frustration, this was nothing that was done on our end.
It looks like someone (either accidentally or purposefully) clicked the “Block all email updates from blogs you’re following on WordPress.com ” setting. Thus, you were not sent any email because the system thought that is what you had chosen.
I have fixed that and you should receive emails now.

I am receiving emails now. Thank you rootjosh. My problems started with someone hacking only my MHB emails that were in my inbox.
I do not know where the Block all emails button is and maybe I am not supposed to know.
I just know that all appears well now. There has been no brand new article posted yet on MHB so I am waiting to see if I get that email notification of new article email.
