Stopping clicked links changing colour afterwards?
-
Hey guys!
I was just wondering if anyone knew a CSS edit I could use with my website: http://alternativemagazineonline.co.uk/
I bascially want links to stay blue even when clicked, rather then turning to black haphazardly?
Any help is much appreciated!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You might want to change the colour, but otherwise this code should work:
a:visited {color:#1873A1;}lh

Thanks that kinda works, it leaves a slightly darker blue though? Any idea the correct colour code?

@alternativemagazine
lol … you only asked about Links. You didn’t ask about headings.There’s a free site you can use to check cross browser compatibility so you know what your readers are seeing. browsershots.org (insert the http:// to make the link clickable.

Use this instead:
a:visited {color:#1C9BDC;}If you want your post headings to stay the original colour, black, then use this code:
.post h2 a:visited {color:#000000;}lh

Sorry! I thought of heading as links but it seems common sense then they are seperate now I think about it!
Thanks that worked perfectly, I really appreciate that. These forums never let me down!
