stopping payment on credit card

I have been trying to get an answer about a cancellation. The confirmation was sent to (email visible only to moderators and staff). I have been unable to set that email up. I changed the email under account settings to a personal email. It says that it is still pending. How can I cancel my upgrade if I can’t get the cancellation confirmation email? If I don’t get an answer soon, I will have to stop payment. I placed the question in the forum area and only got a snide response that I was in the wrong forum.

Your email notifications will go to the email you have listed here:

Adjust your email address accordingly, and then make sure you click Save.

I would prefer just to cancel my upgrade and not mess with the email. I would like to have the cancellation sent to my personal email. I did change my email to a personal email but it says it is still pending.
