Stopping premium -what happens to the site?
-
Hi,
I am considering activiting a wordpress project-blog with Premium, mainly to get rid of the adds that interfere with the main content. The project -and therefore the finances- are expecter to last 2 years. What happens to the site if i quit premium account?
Will the site keep all posts and images created to that point, or will the disk quotum be restored back to the maximum for a free account?
After the project end, we want to keep all content (!) but will only do very limited maintenance. Of course, we would be okay with the return of adds, but we want the content to stay intact. Is this possible?
Jobbe
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Your address URL goes back to the whatever.wordpress.com URL and search engines and other links crash to your site unless you continue the domain registration & domain mapping (available individually)
Your content is safe even if you go over the 3 GB storage limit of a free site – the only catch is you then can’t add new media – but the existing pictures and such can still be seen and are not deleted
And yes the Ads will also come back
Depending on the project and the archive requirements you might consider keeping the custom domain name & mapping to make sure a squatter or porn site does not grab the custom domain name ($18.-/yr if you don’t do the privacy registration – $26.-/yr I think if you do )
