Stopping Subscribers to my blog

  How do I stop someone from following me? They currently subscribe to my blog, but I need to stop someone from following me.

  Howdy,

  There isn’t a way to prevent someone from following your public blog

  If you’d like, I could remove their email address, but anyone can follow your blog with a valid email address through 1) the follow button at the lower–right corner when viewing your blog as a logged–out visitor, or 2) the Follow button in the top left when viewing your blog as a logged–in WordPress.com user.

  My best suggestion to limit who can view your blog is to set your blog as Private in Settings -> Privacy, then invite the viewers of your private blog in Users -> Invite New.

  Please remove all the email addresses that currently are following my blog. Is there a way I can remove the follow blog icon/button?

  Okay, I’ve just done that.

  Is there a way I can remove the follow blog icon/button?

  You can only remove it for logged–out visitors by going to Settings -> Reading in your blog dashboard, then unchecking “Show follow button to logged out users”.

  Please note that WordPress.com users will still be able to follow your blog.
