Storage space

    Hello, on one of my wordpress websites, I bought (in the past) extra storage space and so I am now maxed out at 15GB. I still wish to add a little bit more pictures to this site, so can I just buy the ‘personal plan’ for 6GB additional storage space? Or do I need to get the ‘business plan’ with unlimited storage? Please advise.

    The space upgrades you had on your site expired in March 2016, so your site is currently back on the 3GB free storage. If you upgrade to Personal it will leave you with 6GB total storage, and if you upgrade to Premium it will leave you with 13GB total storage. As you are already using 15GB, neither of those will be sufficient.

    We no longer sell stand-alone space upgrades, and the upgrades you used to own expired too long ago for me to still be able to add them back to your site, so the only option to add additional storage on your site at this point is to upgrade to the Business Plan.

    Ok, thank you for your response. If I wish to add just two more pictures (in order to ‘finish off’ the blog), can I delete two or three other pictures of the same size and replace them with the two new pictures? Buying the Business Plan doesn’t fit with me as I am no longer using / writing on this blog. I simply want to add two ‘concluding pics’ to a blog I am no longer writing on.

    Alternatively, can I buy the business plan, upload the two pictures, and then a week later cancel it with a partial refund? How much of the refund would I be entitled to? And would my two new pictures be removed from the site after I cancel the subscription? I know this is an odd request, but it’s very important to me.

  • At the moment you only have 3GB storage on your site, and you’re using over 15GB of space, so you’ll need to delete much more than just two or three pictures – you’ll need to get your storage use below 3GB to add any more images without upgrading.

    We offer a full refund on all plans for 30 days, so upgrading to Business and then refunding it can work, but there is another option. I’ve sent you an email to discuss that.
