Storage upgrades and multiple blogs.

I’m am recently digging deeper into my use of WordPress.com for blogging. I am considering the purchase of a storage upgrade so I can host audio here for a possible podcast. My wife also wants to start a blog and I considered just starting a new blog for her under my same account at WP.com.

My question is, when you purchase a storage upgrade, do all your blogs share the storage? Does each blog have to have its own storage?
Come to think of it, if i start a blog for her under my account, can we even both log in simultaneously?

I’m just trying to save a little money since I think we would both like to be able to upload sound/video, but I don’t think we would need all the space (or cost) of two storage upgrades.

    Just picking your brains. Thanks!

The storage upgrade is per blog. However, there’s nothing stopping you from using one blog for all of the uploads and linking the other blog to them.

As for logging in simultaneously – there doesn’t seem to be a problem with that. I’m often logging in to my blog on multiple computers at the same time.

How can I start a second blog using my existing wordpress.com account?

Go to the main WordPress.com page and click “register another blog”.
