  What are the best theme and plug-in’s for making a storefront with wordpress.com?
  I am looking for a plug-in or a theme (that already has the required functioality) to help me build a small, simple, storefront with wordpress.com (not wordpress.org).

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The functionality I need includes the ability to easily add paypal buttons for each product I have listed for sale on the blog.

  Did you make the items you want to sell yourself? I’m asking because NO reselling anything made by anyone else is allowed on free hosted WordPress.com blogs.

  WordPress.com blogs cannot be equipped for ecommerce transactions with shopping carts and no blogger initiated advertising or paid or sponsored content is allowed. The only things you can sell on WP.com blogs are products that you, yourself create and/or services that you personally provide. For an online store with a shopping cart you need an independently hosted blog using WordPress.ORG software.

  If and only if you are marketing only what you create and have a online shop with a shopping cart somewhere else online you can create a custom menu and add a custom link to it.

  All the pieces for sale on my blog are made by my husband and/or myself. However I am very glad you told me about this because I was about to add a page for selling some of the collectible, vintage cufflinks we have. That is why I was asking about any tools that would make it easier for me to add the paypal buttons.

  So – just to make sure I understand you – I am not allowed to sell the vintage cufflinks, but I am allowed to sell the jewellery we make ourselves?
