Storefront primary menu color

    Hello.
    I’m VERY new to css, html, php, WordPress, Woocommerce…
    I’m trying to change background color of the links in primary menu.
    The ideia is to create a box around each menu item because the background is making it hard to read sometimes.
    I have tried several codes but nothing worked.

    Also, I’m very confused on where should I put the css code… I have made a StoreFront child theme.
    So, should I put?
    In custom.css (inside child)
    In style.css (inside child)
    In additional CSS (in theme backend, appearence)
    other place?

    Any help is apreciated.

    Hi @chicodarave, there is a dedicated Storefront theme support forum at WordPress.org were you can post your questions. The best place to add additional custom CSS is at Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS. Delete all the informational text in that window, and paste in the custom CSS. This should get you started on changing the background color of the menu area.
