Storefront smaller header needed!!!

  Hello.
  I create my website (not yet published) and i want to short the header, is huge and covers the products.
  This how it looks right now-> http://img173.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=87059_a_122_516lo.jpg
  This is how i want to look like-> http://img254.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=87060_b_122_220lo.jpg
  I’ll prefer a plugin or CSS solution, if there’s no any i’ll accept anything, i’m desperate…
