Storing Data

I am wondering if I choose not to renew my site at this time, will all my posts be stored on the WordPress server and be available for me to still view and then re-amp the blog again at a later time? If so, how long is this data stored?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The data should be stored until the end of the internet or the end of WordPress.com, which ever is first
There is no requirement here for you to use or post to a blog to keep it active – the blog will just wait faithfully for you to start blogging again

Thank you. Will I have access to those posts and photos for reference and they just won’t be public or will I need to pay to renew in order to view them? I post lots and lots of recipes that I’ve created and I’m wondering if I ever want to look back at them for myself, will I be able to? I don’t have them recorded anywhere else.

OK – bit more of an answer – you have domain mapping with a custom domain name – if that goes away – your data will still be at /craving4more.wordpress.com – and you will need to go to /craving4more.wordpress.com to read your site – also all the search links will be broken – your data will still be safe and no charge to see it or even edit it –
Since you have a lot of followers – I would advise you to keep the craving4more.com. domain name and domain mapping – that will help to keep search engines and your followers happy – cost of that is low – also once a domain name is released it can be grabbed by a squatter and held for ransom, so the craving4more.com. could end up as a redirect for a porn site, restaurant or what ever

That makes sense. How do I keep my domain name without renewing the wordpress site at this time?

You should be able to go to
Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades >> and buy individual parts – Registration is $ 5.- I think – a whois shows you have privacy option (hide personal data) is I think $ 8.- / year – – domain mapping is # 13.- / year if you want to keep the URL craving4more.com going to your blog
If you have a package, the staff says you should be able to break out individual parts from the package
If you have problems buying individual pieces type “modlook” (without quotes) as a tag in the right sidebar here – and that will flag this thread for staff help
