Story of the day

  Hi,

  I would like to setup this feature on my index-

  The “story of the day”: where 1 post is randomly selected from the database, but cannot be reappear again the next day or anytime during the next month for that matter.

  How would that work?

  Actually, this shows a different featured post with every page reload. I need to show a different one per day. And the same post cannot reappear for a while.
