    You need to install security plugin (word fence) and scan it and then delete the modified files data ( do not delete complete files , ) only delete the modified code that is added ,

    Your domain hasn’t been hacked or whatever. It expired in February and has been bought once it became available.

    When you let a domain expire you are literally saying you don’t need it anymore. There is no way to reclaim that domain.

    Hi –

    I’ve reviewed the site and account. The domain was never registered on WordPress.com, we were just hosting it. Generally speaking, every site needs an active domain registration and active hosting plan in order to work.

    Since your domain expired, and has been picked up by someone else you have 2 options.

    1. Try to acquire ownership by contacting the new owner. This is often very time consuming and will cost a lot of money.
    2. Register a new, but similar domain to move forward. That domain can be connected to the old site, and it will be just as you left it before, with a new name only.

    Option 2 can happen on the personal plan which is $4/month.
