Strange Blog Hits

  This is probably pretty strange but I am a little wierded out that a post I put up the end of May (and not a very good one) has suddenly been getting like over 200 views in the past three days. What could be causing that? It really isnt that interesting or funny, but everytime I check blog stats it has all these hits suddenly and says that everyone is finding it by looking up the word “mcdonalds”. I did a search under mcdonalds and I couldnt find it so….

  any ideas?

  What did you look it up on? Remember, it’s not just google; it’s also Technorati, Yahoo, MSN, etc.

  Have you got an image tagged mcdonalds? Many searches that unexpectedly bring clusters of hits to certain posts on mine are via google images, not the normal text searches. I also find that headline words bring the most hits, so getting a lot of hits on a post with mcdonalds in the headline would make sense.
