Strange Box on my Home Page

  I seem to have a strange box on my home page http://georgesystems.wordpress.com. It probably is from something I was trying out some time ago.

  I have now done everything I can think of, to remove this, but to no avail :-( I have deleted all the pages and all the posts. But this box reappears, as soon as I create a page again.

  Please help.. Thanks in advance!

  It’s a text widget; you can find it and remove it in Appearance > Widgets.

  thank you very much justpi. i went crazy deleting all my pages & posts trying to get rid of that box. i searched everywhere, and the reason i didn’t find it was because all widget areas were collapsed except the main side bar. and i just assumed that i was not using any widgets.

  thank you once again. in desperation, i filed for this blog to be deleted! hoping to recreate it from scratch all over again. they haven’t deleted it yet. how can i flag that i don’t want it deleted now?
