Strange bug…WordPress shows HTML code
-
We are a web hosting provider and recently we have run into a problem we can’t really solve. Since we upgraded to PHP 5.2.8 one of our customer’s WordPress blogs is showing HTML code in the title and parts of the text. I did a search on Google and found that many WordPress blogs appear to suffer from the same problem. Here are a few:

http://exxtreme-gourmet.com/wordpress/?m=20090125
http://www.icelandforsale.com/blog/?cat=3
http://www.reviewfor.com/wordpress/As you can see when you look at these blogs the title is not shown correctly. I.e. it says:
“titleDyslexia in Children, Dyslexia Symptoms and Lots of Famous People With Dyslexia/titlecategory1/category”Notice the “title” in the beginning and “/titlecategory1/category” at the end ?
The WordPress version our customer is using is version 2.6. Does anyone know what causes this and how to fix it ?

You need to inquire over at http://wordpress.ORG/support/ which is where the self-hosted version of wordpress is supported. This is the wordpress.COM free hosting forum, and we simply cannot answer your question since we don’t know.
